On 13th August, 2024 Sanskrit-Department of Government Arts and Science College, Harij organized a Sanskrit Shlokagan competition based on Shiva Mahima under "Shravanotsav". In which B.A. and B.Sc. total of 19 students were participated. At the beginning of the program, Principal Dr. Manisha F. Shah gave the students a wonderful insight into the importance of Sanskrit slokagan and Sanskrit. All the staff friends and 26 students gave a beautiful response to this entire program. The Shlokagan competition was conducted by Professor of Sanskrit Department. Dr. Kashyap Trivedi. Dr. Kashyap Rachch Head of the Mathematics Department and Dr. Jigneshbhai Parmar Head of the Gujarati Department played the role of judge. In this entire program, Joshi Hiren Jagdishbhai (B.A. Sem-V) secure the first rank, Thakor Gayatri Rasikbhai (B.A. Sem-I) secure the second rank and Kataria Hiralben R. (B.Sc. Sem-V) secure the third rank. At the end of the program, the Head of Sanskrit Department M.L. Prajapati thanked all the students and more and more students were motivated to participate in various competitions. The vote of thanks was done by Dr. Jigneshbhai Parmar, Chairman of Gujarati Department.
